Finally
Where we began…………………………..
Recognizing the need for major changes in the way children are cared for in childcare centers in the country, Yashoda Laalan Paalan and Vagdevi Vilas school rose to the challenge and have collaborated to outstretch their hands to nurture the young souls.
Yashoda Laalan Paalan is not just about quality care. Laalan Paalan is a culture and philosophy based around old fashioned/traditional values for developing young children into responsible human beings and providing experiences that heighten and stimulate children’s senses and creativity.
Laalan Paalan evolved from a vision and dream of MR.K Harish- a scientist, conservationist, dedicated guardian of environment and an educationist who is passionate about providing true, quality education and care.
Collectively, we have 23 years experience in school and college education and childcare industry; in the development, construction, management and operation of long day care centres. Our aim is to ensure that the responsibility of caring for one of your most important people in your life, your child, is taken as the most serious role we will come upon throughout our lives.
Supportive and nurturing environment at YLP centres
To create an environment where children can thrive, feel safe, secure, loved and learn about the world around them, takes life and spirit.
We have designed and built state-of-the-art facilities, compiled a staff of quality professionals led by a fabulous management team, and we are considered by many to have raised the bar for quality child care in the nation.
The life and spirit in our centres starts with our well trained staff.
WE consider our self fortunate to be in a field where we can make immense positive impact on a child during these critical formative years of their life.
Here at YLP, we know that entrusting your child to outside care is a stressful decision. Thanks to an innovative new approach to day care, making the right option just got easier!
At YLP, our year round programs are planned to give time and space for our children to mature at their own rate comparative to their unique abilities and interests by involving themselves in a mixture of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor, active and quiet, teacher-directed and child-initiated activities.
Our environment: of love and trust

Your Child in YLP
Each child comes to us with a unique personality and potential for growth. We bond trust with a caring attitude which, combined with professional expertise, allows us to understand each child's stage of development.
Prarambha (Infant-1 1/2 years)
Our Infant Program serves children from ages ten months 1-1/2 years. The teacher/child ratio is 1 to 6. Each child is assigned a main care giver who attends to the daily needs of the babies in their care.
Care at this age is differentiated by child/care giver attachments, sensory experiences, and nurturing.
Our baby room is staffed by loving and attentive teachers who are truly blessed by their ability to care for infants.
Prayatna ( 1 1/2 - 2 ½ Years)
Our Toddler Program serves children from 1 1/2 years to 2 ½ years. The teacher/child ratio is 1 to 8.
We have specially designed activities to channelize the curiosity, unbounded energy, and independence that set apart this year group.
The highlights are unstructured play time offered on a daily basis to let them to blend with the group at their own pace and encourage them to make choices within clear options.
We offer daily scheduled activities such as art, music, physical activities, dramatic play and story time. Because we understand the importance of flexibility with toddlers, we are prepared to make changes and compromise to meet the ever-changing demands of children. Our toddlers have their own outside play area with age appropriate equipment and hands-on activities.
Our teachers are also ready to assist the children when they begin to get ready to use the toilet as opposed to diapers.
Poorna 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 years
This preschool program is provided to the children from 2 1/2 years to 3 ½ years. The teacher/child ratio is 1 to 10. This age group enjoys being independent, always inquiring and is ready to explore; are full of wonder and enjoy spending time observing and imitating. We have tried to stimulate and satisfy this curious age group with opportunities and space to explore the world around them. We enrich their days at YLP-Poorna by providing them with lots of hands-on activities.
We understand their need to indulge in pretend play , we provide plenty of opportunities for dress-up and imaginative activities in our Costume and dress-up area and puppet theatre. It is also a period in toddlers to find more about themselves and ability to be assertive about self and their belongings. You will often hear the two choicest expressions "No!" and "Mine!". We have built a inspiring and affectionate environment for your children to grow and feel secure exploring their freedom.
