Our Educational Goal:
The educational goal at YLP is to encourage learning and exploration through a variety of quality experiences. The YLP Curriculum promotes learning in a way that supports children's academic progress while respecting the way they grow and develop. These academic areas are displayed through learning/interest centers that allow for child choice and self-directed play. This educational program supports the concept that children have the opportunity to make their own decisions in their learning and development. By providing an environment that is greatly structured, the child has the freedom to visit learning/interest centers at their own discretion. These learning/interest centers cover 6 - 8 different subject areas which are taught daily according to age group.
Specialties of our Curriculum:
It is separated into three different levels of children:
1) Infant – Toddler age groups:
A beginner's learning plan to augment the interface and socialization skills between the child, family and the teacher.
2) Pre-Nursery-age groups:
A specially designed plan which fulfills the inquisitiveness and independence of this age group;all learning is experiential here.
3) Nursery-Preschool:
A major emphasis is on preparedness for Kindergarten through in Reading Readiness, building Mathematical concepts and scientific enquiry.
The specially designed phonetic programme builds life long interest in reading and exploring books.
