Yearly programme

Our Programmes-
Praramba, Poorna, Praytna, Sandyakarya

1. Working days per year:


8.00 to 8.00 on all days, except Sundays
Open throughout the year, except festivals, National Holidays and special occasions.

3. Teachers Qualification:

Undergraduate/Post graduate diploma in Early Childhood education of not less than one year duration from recognized institutions

4. Methodology for teaching:

Age and development stage related Activities and participatory programs drawing from the latest approaches from Multiple Intelligence Theory, High/Scope, Gesell Institute, Direct Instruction, Diagnostic Prescriptive, Madeline Hunter, Piaget's Creative, India's NCERT/SCERT and limited Montessori.

5. Books:

Pre School:
No prescribed books used except the teachers hand book for the use of teachers. Note books: Drawing, Coloring and pattern making books/worksheets

Nursery:
Books for general, English, Language and Numbers readiness (also teachers hand book to be used by the teachers). Note books: worksheets for the above lessons and drawing, coloring and pattern making books, copy writing books.

6. Assessment:

No test but evaluation based on the observation by the teacher of the performance of the children. Each child should have continuous assessment record.

7. Subjects and other activities:

  • Language-English (oral learning)
  • Language Regional (oral learning of Hindi & or local)
  • * Done by parents at home. Limited focus in YLP
  • Pre -reading, pre-writing and pre-mathematical activities
  • General knowledge of the Environment
  • Action songs, music and movements
  • Stories
  • Free Play (outdoors and indoors)
  • Organized activities (Outdoors and indoors)
  • Creative activities (Drawing, coloring, pasting, paper folding and simple crafts etc. )
  • Role Play and Dramatization
  • Field Trips

8. Nutrition Component

Well balanced meal, in consultation with nutritionists, cooked in carefully & hygienically and served with “Motherly love”.

All three meals provided; breakfast, snacks, lunch & afternoon snacks

9. Health/Medical Check up-Immunization Records

Health/Medical Checkup-Immunization Records - are mandatory for admission.
Doctors specialized in Dental, Skin specialists and general pediatricians are periodically visited for a checkup and a health record is maintained for each child by the school's Nurse
